Early GAV Seat Problem I have a double venturi carb I am restoring and I want to clean the GAV passage so I unscrewed the brass seat but the thing just isn't coming out. It moves but it won't pop out of the housing, which leads me to believe it might be stripped. Anybody have any ideas or advice?

Re: Early GAV Seat Problem if it's loose a blast with an airline has managed to get them out of some I've come across.

Re: Early GAV Seat Problem I tried blasting through the other side of the passage to no avail with my air compressor.

maybe push out if loose from the hole in the bowl with a small wire paper clip or if have a locking snap screwdriver will work

Re: Early GAV Seat Problem I will give the paper clip a try. Don't have one of those locking screwdrivers, can't say I have ever seen one.
