Door lock question 1950's I have a FoMoCo two lock cylinders set, both lock cylinders use the same key. I believe these fit around 1953 to 1958. One lock cylinder is positively for a door, and my question is what does the other cylinder lock fit. Is it ignition, glove box or trunk. in other words what lock cylinder would use same key as a door lock. Upon identifying this combo they will be for sale. The Ford parts number on the box is CPA-7022050-A and the box printing says "cylinder and key set".

Re: Door lock question 1950's Doors and ignition used the same key - trunk and glove box used another key.

Re: Door lock question 1950's Mine (56 customline) uses one key for doors, ignition and glove box, another for the trunk and another for the gas cap.

Re: Door lock question 1950's Thanks paul2748 and also RCM, I knew one lock was door, the second lock cylinder I now know is ignition.

Just posting this because I stumbled across the picture.
(When new) the doors & ignition use a square-headed key and the glove box & trunk use a round-headed key. |
