Brass? Part of a marine conversion?

I've a n.os. single alum water pump somewhere in my barn, not certain if o.e.m. or not always watched for the opposite side at swap meets to no avail. I believe Speedway & possibly others stocked a repo version at one time.

Before it was brass, now it's aluminum?

Aluminum (authentically) was used on some aircraft.

True scoop, Kube! The Ford "15P" (actually "Stout Metal Aircraft Co.") had an all aluminum Ford flatty. Notice that the "right" & "left" heads are swapped side for side. DD
