39 coupe curling rear window seal The rear window seals in my 39 deluxe coupe each has a small curl in each seal. It's got no better and no worse in the 2 years I've had the coupe. Is there any advisable adhesive i could put a small amount under the seal to flatten it out. I'd like to keep those seals in place but if I need to change them I will . one more question ...is there any particular spot the molded mark on the seal has to be ? Thanks

Re: 39 coupe curling rear window seal Any chance of your posting a photo? I installed DRAKE one piece rear window seals about 40 years ago and they are still laying flat. Were your seals one piece or did you have to cut them to length? Do you have the correct lip facing up?

Re: 39 coupe curling rear window seal Your existing seals are probably Carpenter brand seals. As built they are too long & curl after installation.
Buy Drake seals, they will fit correctly. |

Re: 39 coupe curling rear window seal I have the same issue in my 39 std coupe and I think it came from Carpenter.
