Bert’s Model A Center. The Place to “GO”.

Last week I was placing a small order with Steve Becker at Bert’s. I don’t know why I started out by asking Steve if there could be a chance he had an original passenger side lower landau bracket for a 1929 Sport Coupe.

He said, let me check and I will get back to you.

30 minutes later, I received an E-Mail from Steve. They had one. He shipped it along with the rest of my order the next day.

I had been looking for a good one to finish a car I have been working on for 40 years.

As we all know, the car will never truly be done done, but that was the last part in my mind we still needed.

Job well done to Steve and Bert’s.

I trust everything Steve sells and if the only a available repro is less then perfect he will tell you upfront. He has actually steered be back to looking for an original because the repro he sold was not good enough. My number one source.

I asked Steve for 4 perfect 19" inch used rims. That is exactly what he shipped me.

I’m curious. If you don’t mind my asking, what was the cost of the four wheels plus shipping?

Steve Becker and Bert's are the absolute best.

Here's a link to some commentary and pics from my visit in late 2014. I was told in advance that I was in for "shock and awe" at Bert's and that was 100% correct. Note that the company has since relocated to another building in the area.

I've had nothing but fantastic dealings with Bert's dealing with them.

They are absolutely A-No.1, great folks.

Being a parts counter man at this business would be a dream job for any of us:):) If only I lived closer what a cool place to drop into.

Anytime I'm in Denver, I try to drop by. If you get a chance GO! You won't regret it. If you can't go, order parts from Steve anyway!
