Re: bumber jack IIRC, they were behind the front seat. I carry a floor jack in the trunk of my '59. Have yet to need to use it, but others have borrowed it.

Re: bumber jack If you carry a floor jack around all the time in your trunk you will NEVER have a use for it.
Now if you leave it at home, .......that’s a different story. My F1 has a long tool shelf above the gas tank behind the seat that holds the jack and tools. The jack that came with the early Aerostar would not do the job. There was also a Lincoln that was sold for a while with a wrong size lug wrench. |
