True or false...Body assembly plant codes... A few years ago, about 2006, I was in Bosie, Idaho and saw a 1926-27 Model T body with letters and numbers stamped in the same spot on the body as our Model A's (Well, most of them anyway).
Is it true or false that the Model T's also had assembly plant codes? If you have a Model T in original state, would you please check the body subfloor cross sill for which the front seat risor is riveted to for any sign of letters and numbers? Next time I am down in the Bosie area, I will have to look at that body again...actually I think it was in Caldwell, Idaho. Thanks. Pluck |
Re: True or false...Body assembly plant codes... Steve...I thought there was a discussion about a year, you probable posted it? Did you try the "T" side? Dudley

Re: True or false...Body assembly plant codes... There is a discussion somewhere on Model T Forum a few years ago about this. It is quite good ,a guy called 'Hap'? .

Re: True or false...Body assembly plant codes... Steve,
I ran into some posts on the Model T site from late 2009. I have had a few e mails with Hap Tucker about the Model T having plant numbers. Seems they do at least toward the later production years. Hap and I have been sharing information. Dave |
