Window Regulator

Hi everyone, new to the forum. 1946 Sedan, First flathead I ever owned. A lot to learn. To start how can I repair star gear in window crank? I removed the three rivets but not sure how to reinstall. Mine has five teeth only found six tooth replacement.

You need the same number of teeth on the winder. Then pop rivet the new set in place.

Only found model A with 5 teeth, would that be correct ? Do I have to do more disassembly to secure rivets ? Thanks

Just thought I would let anyone know that had similar issue with window regulators. I order the 6 tooth star gear kit,it separates and was able to use the 5 tooth original gear in the new crank handle assembly. Just got all new brake parts, master and wheel cylinders, shoes and lines. This car sat for over 20 years, it’s running like a bear now. Now to make it stop.
