39 /40 coupe body

I would like to know if a 39 deluxe coupe body and a 40 coupe body are the same. I have a 39 deluxe with the top caved in and Carpenter sells the top for a 40. Thanks

The roof will be different around the windshield area. It could be made to work

The wiper towers moved to the cowl on the '40's. But seeing 4 door sedans become coupes, which is amazing, I guess anything you can imagine can be done.

The roofs are identical with the exception of the holes for the wiper transmissions. It would be quite simple to add them (holes).
