31 Aprons rear holes

1 Attachment(s)
My aprons do not have not have the holes in the rear that match up to the holes in the front of the rear fenders.

So many people tell me that holes such as these should be done before I prime paint the aprons.

Therefore, does anyone know about these holes? Does anyone have the dimensions of these holes that I can add to my aprons?

The attached picture was sent to me by a fellow restorer.

Thanks,

John on them two holes that are not in the reproduction aprons. and you are putting together a driver. after painting and installing the fenders with the welting, clamp the fender to the apron then drill the holes in the apron and install the bolt. or you can do a dry run before painting, by installing the fenders, drilling the holes, disassemble the car and prime and paint.

Right now, the body is sitting on the chassis. In order to get the apron installed, the body would need to be raise and the apron inserted, hoping for correct location before lowering the body down again. This would be required on both sides.
Over and over again, I have been told to perform all mechanical alterations prior to applying primer.
