1936 3/w

Hi ford men, can anyone tell me how much of a 36/5window rear end could be used to repair a damaged 36/3 window rear,ie how far forward are they the same? Thank you Stewart.

Kinda depends what needs repairing but assuming it's the rear trunk and tailpan area best I can tell they are the same up to the point the 5 window roof line starts.
The 3 wondow roof is about 6 or 10 inches more forward and the quarter panels are a different length. I might have some panels.
PM me if u need pics.

Here's an overlay that I saved from somewhere showing the profile differences, with the area that the 3W differs from the 5W shown in red. On the top side, things are different soon after the front of the trunk/rumble lid opening, and on the side soon after the front of the wheelwells.
