41 pickup dash knobs
 

Does anyone know if the 41 pickup dash knobs are being reproduced? I have seen them listed in Drakes etc catalogs, but they are all shown as the 46-47 type. I would like a nice new set, but would settle for a mint used 41 truck light switch knob.

the knobs you are showing are for auto's, the dark colored are for 40 delux and the sand colored are for 40 standard, black ones for 40 pu, they are reproducing knobs for 41 pu-same knobs up to 47 trucks, black with red letters. just a thought-did Ford use car knobs down under for 41-47 trucks?

Thanks for your reply, in factory pics shown in Mac Hils book on early pickups, these black knobs are indeed the 41 pickup deal. I have seen a 1-owner 40 pickup and it had the sand -color knobs (same as the light switch knob shown). I was hoping someone might have a black light switch knob they would sell me. All the 35-39 pickups in NZ seemed to have the 35 standard choke and throttle knobs. All the 42-47's I have seen all have the same truck knobs that are being reproduced.

The 41 pickup did have the black knobs. They match the black knobs on the window crank handles. There are some photos that show the interior of the 41 pickups in the 40-41 pickup book that was reprinted by the Early Ford V-8 Club. A great book for $10.

I have a 41 windshield wiper knob that appears to be original, but not sure if it's for a truck or car. It's a light tan in color. Just an FYI
