Fodor Murray window regulator

I am working on my 30 Murray Fordor. One front regulator is 10" from the pivot to the center of the roller and the other is 13.5". Anyone have any information as to which is correct? I have a machine shop sitting here so I can modify either one to match.

Hi can you tell me if the murray body and the briggs body have a duck tail or rear lower panel could also be called a beaver or valence panel I am looking for one but may be a bit scarce thanks Dave

If you can post a picture of what you are looking for, I'll look at my Murray and see. Like at the rear of the body behind the bumper and between the fenders?

To correct my first post, the longer regulator is 11.5", not 13.5". Senior fingers at work.

Yes, the Murrays had the valance between the bottom of the body and the top of the bumper brackets.

They're not too scarce...I got one without too much trouble.

They simply screw on the bottom of the body with NO welting, just some anntisqueak friction tape between the metal and then bolt onto the fenders too.

So no one knows how long the regulator arms should be?

Have you given a vendor a call? How about Bert's in Denver as they sell new and used parts.

Yes, I should call them. I hate to pester hard working people when I'm not going to spend any money just then. I will have to call them anyway as the bottom rail (that the window seats in) is missing on one side and I'll need the right one from them.

I'm sure they will not feel pestered. You will remember their help and when the time comes I'm sure they will be your first choice for parts.
