8 BA core
 

I have an 8 BA that had clean green anti freeze in it, and it was full of oil, not so clean. I think it would make a good engine to rebuild for some one. The question is, should I remove the heads for inspection?

Yes, to make sure that there are no cracks in the valve area. Ed

Any buyer will pay more when the heads are off than if not.

buying an engine with the heads on is like buying a grab bag at the circus, you wont know what you bought till you open it, and then its usually
not a very good surprise

Thanks for the observations. I'll be pulling heads this weekend.
