Calling Hairy Canary for king pin lock bolts

Hi. By chance I saw Hairy Canarys post about lock bolts for king pins for the 60HP tube front axle. Any chance you have a set for me? I have too few posts to be able to send him a message as of now.

Atle, have you tried to send him a private message ? That should work regardless of how many posts that you have.

Nope, you need at least 10 posts. The easiest thing to do is to make a few posts, usually complimenting someone's car or technique.

.

Another F'Barner whom we all know talked me into selling him my current tube axle. This axle came out from under a VERY STOCK, single family owned '39 Standard coupe in the Chicago area with an original V8-60. It was eventually restored as an 85 HP car. In the meantime, I had misplaced one of the two original king pin LOCK PINS which are so hard to come by! So, a close buddy of mine ordered some 11/16 hex stock from McMaster-Carr and whooped-out a couple of the little buggers. He's never run a lathe before in his life and managed to make these on a home lathe that he bought from a widow ten years ago, so it must not be too hard to make a pair. One original Ford lock pin on the right in picture.
