1931 Instrument panel light

Does anyone restore them? I have several original ones that i would like to restore, does anyone here have any information about the process, or a clue as to where i can find an article or reference on them.

This doesn't answer your question, but it will at least bring the question back to the top.

If you are running 6 volts and would like a less bright and hot instrument panel light, try a 12 volt #63 bulb. This information courtesy of Jim Cannon.

Most suppliers carry new ones.

These are just a simple mechanical lamp, what is the problem you are trying to fix?

If you STARE at a BULB long enough, it'll BURN out.
