Re: Let's meet the "Model 40" guys,... 1933/1934 Does mine count. It is a 33 truck with a 34 car chassie. It is a great driver with the 21 stud flathead and 3 speed trans. They shortned the frame and bobbed the rear bed down. I put 19 inch wires off a 30 model a and got 475/500 on front and 700 on rear. Dont know if i will do much to it because i drive it alot and dont want any down time with it.

Re: Let's meet the "Model 40" guys,... 1933/1934 I don't have a 34 but I'm hoping this will be my next car . I do have a stable of two 1930 Model A's, a 1910 hupmobile and a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine The 34 ticks all the boxes for me in terms of looks . Unfortunately the numbers of original 34's in New Zealand is very limited. I have considered buying in the States and shipping out to New Zealand but I'm quite apphrehensive about getting stung and stuck with an expensive lemon . Karl

This one I actually found at the dumps. The paint was old and faded-nobody wanted it.
