Why are some suicide doors and others are not?

To make it easier to get in and out. 32 3W is the deluxe model and had them while the std 5w did not. All 33/4 models both std and dlx had them. All v8 and 4cyl fordors had them for rear doors thru the end of 48 production.

The 32's with suicide doors were made by a company named Murray Body Works. They built the 32 3 window and the 32 Vicky.
