New reproduction rear hub and drum

Just wondering if anyone has used the new reproduction rear hub and brake drum assemblies? If so, how do you like them? Any issues? Thanks, Dale

I am not aware that Randy makes the hubs too and that is part of the question.

We have gotten the rear hubs from Snyders (with drums attached) and have had no issues with them.

What is wrong with the ones you have?

I mailed 2 rear drum assemblies off to have new drums installed and the post office lost one of them. By the time I buy another used hub/drum assembly, pay the shipping and the cost to install a new drum, it would be cheaper to buy the new assembly. I'm just wondering about the quality of the new ones.

The original hubs were of such poor quality. I can't see the new ones being worse.
Everybody who has had anything to do with a worn hub will know that they wear at the outer end of the bearing area in a bell shape. That is because Henry's hardening process didn't do the job properly down inside the hub. I'm not impressed in a good way by the originals.

I have had rear drums/hubs/studs from Bratton's for ~5 years, no problems.

Two of my hubs had the studs welded in when I had Randy provide new cast iron drums.
He provided original serviceable hubs on those two drums.
