A buddy told me he heard ads for the Back to the 50's on the radio twice yesterday ????

Checked the MSRA website and it says cancelled .

Anyone know anything bout dis ?

Why not call or e-mail the organizers rather than rely on rumors?

As stated in my first post all I found looking into this was " cancelled " .

Being as it was advertised as happening on the radio at least twice yesterday do you think the " organizers " may be getting deluged with info requests ?

From the past I remember folks here that know about this event .

Just trying not to be another pest .

BTW if this is so bothersome and distracting just block any postings by me .
Real simple cure .

The venue, the State Fair Grounds, is right in the middle of the violent unrest there in the Twin Cities. Not a safe place for a car show these days....

Yessir , Didn't make any sense to me either but someone paid to have that info broadcast . Well I assume radio stations charge for ads .

All sites (MSRA webpage, Facebook, etc.) all still say cancelled and re-scheduled to 2021. Does the radio ad mention 2021?

May have been an oversight and they didn't remove the pre planned ad from the roster although the event is canceled.

Didn't bother me, I was just offering some common sense advice to go to the source. If you went to the source and it says cancelled I'm not sure why you posted it in the beginning.

The event is cancelled for 2020. Non of the dash plaques, mugs etc have been ordered. This was to be the 47 annual BTT50's and it was voted that next year will be the 47th instead rather than the 48th.


I was hoping that they had already made the dash plaques so I could put a big red X on one and keep my collection going.

Thanks and I figured it was wishful thinking BUT .

Really going to miss it as I have a new toy to drive there .
Fairgrounds is less than 50 miles for me to drive .
Mike kept the car in good order so a 50 mile trip is no problem .
Gotta love dem 3.54's !!!!!
