1929 sedan delivery wood Anyone here have any pics of the wood in a 1929 sedan delivery?
Mostly around the rear door Area and the top rear corners and the bottom door jam. Thanks Marshall |
Re: 1929 sedan delivery wood The Sedan Delivery would be closest to the 130A body. The Budd 130A bodies were made in good numbers but not as common as many other model A bodies. This was referred to as the Deluxe Delivery. The other type was a 79A Panel Delivery. This is some info from Vince's site but it only shows individual pieces for the 130A Deluxe Delivery. It would be a puzzle to figure how they go.

Re: 1929 sedan delivery wood Thanks for the the info,
I'm really hoping someone here has more pics of the back door surround wood , I have most of the wood patterns except for the bottoms where they were rotted off I have no idea what they look like . Thanks again Marshall |
Re: 1929 sedan delivery wood Check out mantiques restoration services web site, one of their projects was a panel truck with a lot of pictures !

Re: 1929 sedan delivery wood The Panel Delivery and Drop Floor Panel Delivery were different than the Deluxe Delivery. The Deluxe Delivery was more of a sedan delivery type vehicle that was loosely designed on the Tudor Sedan. The Panel Delivery types had a taller roofline and a lot more wood.
