Fire Department license plates

Advice Wanted:
I have a set of nine "Barn Find" Connecticut license plates from 1924 to 1933 (but 1930 is missing...).
They are all the same #s and all the same letter.... All they say is:
F-2
Connecticut 19XX

I'd like to get some advice on how to get them to a new owner(s!?!?)...
I don't think that waiting for a real-life swapmeet is the way to go...
I've had them for decades, but a rigorous, ongoing, quarantine-driven, basement cleanup has brought them onto my wife's radar screen... So I'd like to find a new home for them.
As for condition, I'd say, "rough but restorable". None of the edges, slots, or holes are torn, and while some have remnants of the original paint, some others have surface rust and almost none of the original finish...

Any idea what they would be valued at?
Should I break up the 'set'?
Should I restore them?
I'd like to see them go to a Fordbarner, so if I were to offer them here on the Fordbarn should I put it on the T, A, or V8 sites?

I'm not a fan of Ebay, but.... Would that be a good option?

Ideally I'd like to see the plates go to someone who restores Fire Department equipment and who would enjoy them.
Also, I would be open to trading for Model A parts.....
Thanks in advance for your input and advice...
(I hope that the images of the plates has been uploaded properly, this is the first time I've tried to post a picture.)

here's another one -

did not see classified ads on their home page but for special plates like these it might be worth asking......

do NOT restore them! let the next owner make that call.
as with cars, unrestored is often more valuable.

I think a run like that with the same number is more valuable intact than separated.

I have several years (1960s-70s) of Ohio plate P-2636 that were my Grandpa's.
Will never sell them, but my daughter or grandchildren might.......
