1938 Woody Windshield Install Does anyone have any tips on the windshield installation for a Woody? The car came without a windshield. I've purchased a pattern and am having the glass cut. I have a Carpenter seal set.
Does the glass get installed from the inside, and is it held in place by the garnish? I don't see a lip on the rubber seal to attach the outside chrome trim. How does it get installed? Is there a site I can use for instructions? I haven't found anything on a Forum search yet for a '38 Woody. Cheers, Al |
Re: 1938 Woody Windshield Install The seal goes around each glass pane, then yes, the glass is inserted from inside the car and held in by the garnish molding.
