What jets are on the Weber progressive 32/36 used on flat head model A eng.?

I use the stock jets. Never had a reason to pull the top off the carburetor.

OK, but these carbs are offered as O.E. & aftermarket on engines such as the V-6 Ford engine (2800cc - 170c.i.) all the way down to a 1600 cc VW coming in at a whopping 97 cubic inches. With a Model-A/B engine coming in just over 200 cubic inches, there is quite a bit of variation between venturi sizes and jetting. As I recall, the Model A carb is like 110 cfm ...yet there are 2 or 3 different venturi sizes that allow those Weber carbs to be like 220 cfm up to a 330 cfm. Jet sizes are also respondent in correlation to the venturi size. My point is you could very easily purchase a carb that is too small or too large for your Model-A.

Personally, if I were the OP I would contact the company that manufactures Weber carbs (I cannot remember their name but they are based out of California) and give them all the specs on your engine and let them give you a recommendation based on your engine combination for venturi size, idle & main jet.

My Weber has been on since 1992. It's a DGV 5A with a manual choke. Average 25 mpg and better on several out of state tours, one 2000 mi and one 5000 mi tours. Brent is probably thinking about www.piercemanifolds.com/ in Morgan Hill CA.

The company is Redline in Gilroy CA. In as much as they are purchased as a package including the A intake and linkage designed to hook up to the stock throttle linkage, it stands to reason that the vendors are offering the correct package. In fact, I bought my set up from Bert's in Denver and had to return it to Redline to have a different fuel fitting installed. The techs at Redline assured me that it was correct out of the box for a 200 cid Model A engine.

When I bought my kit, it was written on the carb "Jetted for Model A". Kit included the manifold and linkage for a Model A as well.

This is what the "Jetted for Model A" version comes with.

Hi all together. I gotta bring this thread back up..
I'm messing around with a weber that i bought here on the barn.
It was supposed to be jetted for a stock A motor, but it is way off.
I bought the jets like "Jason in Tx" mentioned above, the carb is way too lean now, i think my problems now are venturi and emulsion tube size. Does anyone know the specs how these come on the "jetted for Model A" version. I have 3.5 venturis and a f50 main and f6 secondary tube.

Since they replaced the fuel fitting ... are you running without a fuel pump?

I heard that these Webbers run lean when fuel tank gets down to 3/4 full if running gravity feed or too low fuel pressure.
