I got mine from Mack Hills in Missouri

With respect, it's Mack Hils, not Mac Hills.

P.S. Given the head configuration, they are known as step bolts, not carriage bolts.

I bought SS carriage bolts from Lowe's. Unless you are doing an actual restoration, they are close enough that the difference in head size isn't noticeable. They fit just like the rusty ones I removed.

I saved a few from my 38. The rest. cab back had to use repo. The actual bolts are very different. Heads aren't domed and have a square hold on top for the bed. 3/8 ratchet is close but small. Used a window crank off a 1920s home window for the 38. Worked well with the "chatter rods" also. At least on my 1938.
