Could someone please post a picture of a home made spring spreader so that I dont have to go buy one? Thanks for your help, Sonny

Regardless if you buy a spreader or make one, you are going in to a dangerous endeavor, especially with the rear spring. My strong advice is to wrap the spring on both ends with a strong safety chain to the frame. Several wraps if you have enough chain. When it comes time to either remove or install the spring shackles there will be some level of pounding on them and a great risk of the spreader slipping. It is not good if the spreader slips …

My home made spring spreaders, I changed both springs in my coupe with these. The top one is for the rear spring.
