1934 Roadster For The Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum
 

I met Joshua Conrad a few years ago by accident
when I called a wrong number - one of the best
wrong numbers I dialed :cool:

Josh is now The Executive Director
but you would never know it.

Since then - he had become a good friend
and I always enjoy the opportunity to stop in
and visit when I am in Auburn.

Today was a great day ;)

I dropped off a beautiful 1934 Ford Roadster that
was generously donated by Mr. William Fox & his lovely wife
of Frederick, Maryland.

A renowned architect - Mr. Fox has done all
of the architectural design work for the museum
thru donated professional service ;)

When Josh arrived we went for a ride.

The museum has a 1936 Ford Roadster but this 1934
is one of the finest examples in the country 🧐

Then he changed the sign to read you need a Roadster ;)

So I spent the day at the museum.

I drove a 1953 Ford Convertible over
to Downtown Auburn where we spent
a few hours at the last car show
of the year.

And Josh never stopped working.

As the sun set - he was polishing the
1934 Roadster that he drove over.

Good post "trulyvintage" on a great museum that just keeps getting better and better. Thank you Bill and JoAnn Fox for donating your beautiful '34 Ford Roadster, and also a big thank you to Bill Fox for all of the architectural design work he has so graciously done for "The Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum", the Rotunda addition that houses the Joe Floyd '36 Ford collection is spectacular to say the least.

I have been here since Thursday early morning.

We hatched a plan Thursday afternoon to have
a Saturday Swap at the museum - printed up
some flyers - went to the last car show in Auburn.
Thursday late afternoon.

The Saturday Swap was fun - local guys showed up.

Bill and JoAnn Fox are two of the nicest V-8ers you will ever meet. Bill has donated an untold amount of hours to the design of the Foundation Museum. The museum is what it looks like today because of Bill. His roadster is the icing on the cake for the museum. The museum should be on everybody's bucket list to visit. Thank you Jim for bringing this donation to everyone's attention.
