Here is the Rare 40 year anniversary book "FORTY YEARS of FORD MOTOR COMPANY" 1903 - 1943 as described in the Jan / Feb issue of the V8 - Times. It comes with the original letter and hard slip cover. This book is in very good condition for it's age.
This book was Edsel's final contribution to his fathers company and printed despite wartime restriction on publications. These restrictions usually resulted in cheap looking books with inexpensive bindings and cheap thin paper. This book is high quality for the time. There were only 12,500 copies compared to the 50'th book which had almost 500,000 copies and a much higher survival rate.
The slip cover does have some issues on the lower edge and back but not severe.
