Early Ford transmission

3 Attachment(s)
Hi guys

While I am waiting for my engine block that is still in the machine shop I have taken a closer look at the Transmission.
However I don't seem to find any information on the Internet that can help me identify what it is.
It looks like a fourspeed toploader. There are some reinforcements on the bellhousing that I have not seen on any other of the Transmissions.
Nothing at Van Pelts that can point me in the right direction.

Heavy duty truck 4 speed trans. It has no synchreonizers and a very low first gear. It appears to be from an F2 which would put in the early 50's. Only good for a restored heavy truck.

You can use it for a anchor.

Thanks for your reply, not what I was hoping for but it is what it is. Guess I'll be looking for a different tranny then lol
Btw, what is a F2?

This section is not for car questions, it is for questions about the site and problems with it. If you are looking for a transmission, use the classifieds, car questions should be in the correct forum, in this case Early V8. That is a 1948 F2 in my avatar, but it came from the factory with the 3 speed.

Sorry about posting in the wrong section. I'm a bit new to this and, have to try and fail before i figure this out. If there is an admin seeing this. Feel free to remove the thread.
