Back to daily Driver!

I haven't posted in years, but probably 8 years ago i started driving my 28 RPU as my Daily Driver and did so for about 4 years exclusively. I stopped for two reasons 1) i finished my cj7 restore and 2) my front end was very badly worn out and needed rebuilding. Last year i rebuilt my front end on the A. and around the same time i got t boned in my cj7 and it was essentially totaled. So im back to restoring my cj7 and my current daily driver (my jeep from high school which as had no upkeep done to it what so ever and is usually sitting out in the woods behind me house rotting lost its breaks today (death trap). Well i only have about a month or two tops left to finish restoring my cj and decided that im putting the A back on the road tomorrow. I figure ill spend the day getting her up to snuff adjusting the carb and steering box. Fixing the horn and changing oil and greasing. Very excited.

HAHAHA i totally agree except i was in New Orleans during mardi-gras. was hit by an off duty cp in an under cover Chevy Malibu cruzer going 60 in a school zone blowing though a stop sign after picking her 6 year old up from kinder-garden.

The narrow tires will cut through the snow this winter.

I think ill be starting a full restore by winter on the old girl. I have just about everything up to snuff except for a clogged radiator. yesterday i realized she was over heating and went to unscrew the cap and got a 15' steam / water geyser roasted my arm and face feels great! The damned overflow tube must have blocked up. Tomorow im going to fill it with degreaser and run for a half hour, rise a few times with water fill up the radiator with gas, run it for 5 min, then drain it and repeat with denatured alcohol. ill leave the hoses disconnected and let it dry overnight and Friday morning ill fill it with Evaporust to try and get rid of any rust flakes that are in the radiator.

Please nobody tell me gas and alcohol are flammable
