model A plans and drawings
 

peeking over on the T side i see a thread on this subject, i see some link to the H.A.M.B. , some clean drawings others not so precise, non the less, good effort . i might've missed something but has anyone got some for A's , i'm just working on this station wagon but i like to look at specs regardless. there's a guy in texas with a printed stack of what i need for a lump of cash, original from the '28 murray ford secrets.
this is driving me to insanity. :mad:

i know what you mean.i am suprised too that model a blueprints are very hard too find.i think they are out there but they are in the hands of people that use them for a profit like rework shops and reproduction factories that make all the new parts.it all come's down too money.there are some blueprints in old magazines and restores book's but the quality of the pictures are poor at best.i have found a few if you would like a link to them pm me and i will send them too you

Measured drawings of Model A pieces were included in some of the early issues of Model A News and The Restorer. Somewhere I have an issue from the '70's, I think, with a drawing of the wooden header for a sedan. Buy a "collection" of these magazines. There are usually a couple offerings in the current issues of these mags from guys who are anxious to pass on the "gospel" (Model A Truth) as they know it, and declutter their library.
The Victoria Chapter's Bustle newsletter has some excellent drawings of Vicky-specific pieces.

yes, i have communicated with Tim, thank you Steve. Tim is a nice guy and helpful however i just don't have that kind of money.

yes many blue prints and plans are out there,and people do use them
but did you know that the plans arent free?
If you use them in any article Ford charges you $50 a piece for them
i went to research the 30 hubcap,and there were 27 drawings for them
at $50 ea that come to $1,350
Ive tried to get someone in the club to see which ones were worth buying as Ford wont tell you,whats on them
His "fee" was $50 an hour!
we have to thank God for people like Steve Plucker who buys them and researches them and then publishes them
Its all money out of his pocket
