Drain panel 35F cpe.
 

I got a surprise when I took the panels off the rear roll down window. The drain pipe was blocked solid. The bottom of the panel was rotted (rusted) out. Does anybody repop these drain panels? Thank you Tom Z...

I think someone on the Barn or maybe the HAMB "custom" makes them when they need some spare change.
I bought one last year after being on the waiting list for a year but it was very well done. Not hard to repair or fab if you are not too concerned with originality.

Does anybody make the floor pipe that the rear window hose drains into. Mine is gone and was replaced with a sheet metal patch so I need to cut a new hole. Does anybody have measurements for the location of that lower, 1" pipe? Thanks.

mine to. i was just going to start a thread, thought i better look first. i PMed the fellow, we'll see if he's still doing them. might have to get dirty on this one. mine is still intact, but many holes and small cracks. i thought about fitting a piece of 20 g. in there pressed in to epoxy for a quick fix. summer car.

Mine was cut off just below the window. I would like to fabricate one.

Not too bad to do, if it doesn't have to exactly match the original tray. To overcome the limitations of a regular brake, I started the bends on the brake and finished by pressing the piece into a channel to bring the sides up. Not being a sheet metal lay-out guru; I made it square; then trimmed the sides and edges to make it taper to the right.

nice. somebody getting it done. i'm right behind you, i just got to finish a couple of other things first, but it's coming right up. i haven't even unbolted it yet. the top edge of your old one looks a lot like mine, all mis-shaped. thanks for the photo. it helps others to get started on this repair.

Here's how it looks installed.

Hard to see in the first picture I posted; but I also rolled a bead on the back side sorta like the original had.

I could not find a small size 90 degree bent tube; so I just went straight out and let the hose make the curve.

It is spot welded to the remainder of the original back panel. I went overboard punching spot weld holes and didn't use them all.

wow. looks really good with the square corners. i thought about folding over the top edge of the interior side so that it wouldn't get all wavy looking like mine is now. just like 1/2" to keep it stiff. did you paint the inside with something good? i've been having good luck with por-15 to really seal these types of projects, just scuff it real good with some 60 grit for good bite. soon i'll be there too.

I used 18 ga; stiffer than the original tin; but a folded over edge would look nice too.

I blasted it and just used Rustoleum red primer; figured it will outlast me and whoever gets it next; unless they maybe park it in a field for 50 some years again.
