DOROTHEA LANGE and her 1933 WOODY. Who's Dorothea Lange?? Well she was a famous photographer, 1885 -1965, who's photos are preserved at the Online Archive of California, http://www.oac.cdlib.org/, with her most famous photo of a Migrant Mother, taken in 1936. In 2008 she was inducted into the California Hall of Fame. Check out her works and history by GOOGLEing her name.

For a thread on famous artistic women and Ford V'8's...here's a picture of Georgia O'keefe draped over a spare tire. There are several different shots of this around.

I believe she was employed by the Farm Bureau to photograph the Depression, out west. Her work is outstanding. Another Depression Era Photographer I like is Russell Lee. The Pietown New Mexico series, (1940) is great.
I am a Ophthalmic Photographer and my dad worked for Kodak in Rochester, N.Y. for twenty eight years. Kind of peeked my interest with this post.

I think I'm in love... :)

And, where did those wind wings come from?
Were they a Ford accessory?

Bruce, I would love to have one of those '32 spare tire covers! Pat
