Magnito are there articles on installing a mag in place of the dist. I have several 4 acyl. mages that could possibly be adapted to work

Remember, just because something can be made to fit, isn't a good reason to make it fit. Stock ignition is so easy to fix and maintain, that I wouldn't change. |
Re: Magnito I know of a Model A with twin ignition. Points and coil for one and magneto for the other. It has an OHV head from the 30's and quite a competition history. For ordinary running, why would you bother. Like Tom said, the standard system is soooo simple and reliable.

Re: Magnito I use to change tractor magnetos to dist. and use a coil. Don't go there will not help your engine. But might give you a fit. Do you know how to set the trimming, with the impulse in the mag.
