Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash 1 Attachment(s)
Any idea what these holes were used for? Dash panel cover has hole in center that does not align with these two holes. Thank you for any input!

Re: Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash Is there a different style dash panel for the late 31s?
|
Re: Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash nope, that is the one used from mid 30 all the way to the end.
you will notice there is a tab on the back side of the square hole, that tab goes in one of the two hole in the light. and a screw, lock washer, and nut goes through the other hole. |

When I ordered a dash lamp assembly for my early 1931 68B Cabriolet there were two styles available, and of course, I ordered the wrong one! Rather than return it I simply shortened the bracket to fit. Measure the distance between the holes and ask someone at Snyders which one fits it. |
Re: Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash . The only differnce I know is for open and closed cars
The Cabriolet is an open car but used the closed car's light |
Re: Late 1931 Ford A Model Coupe Dash the open cars from the mid 30`s have a longer mounting bracket.
