YOM License Plate Restoration in Washington

I've located a 1940 Washington Commercial plate for my 1940 Tonner and could use a recommendation on someone in Washington that restores license plates. Thanks in advance.

You better check with your state MV office. Some states will not allow restored plates to be used on a car. They must be readable as is to get registered,Only then after you get the car registered then you get them restored after. ken ct.

Contaact Bjorn Larsen at [email protected] or his website is www.oldlicensefarm.com. His name is Bjorn Larsen and his phone number is 360-659-7004. I bought a 1936 plate for my car from him. They are recognized in Washington State and you will not have to renew your plate each year. It becomes a permanent plate.

There is a bill presently in the Washington State works to repeal the collector car plates. If this bill passes, there will no longer be life time plates in the State of Washington. There will be an annual fee to pay just like everyone else has to pay for their modern automobiles. Gone will be the driving restrictions that were placed on the collector car plates. Due to the recession, it is a money grab by the State. Sad......
