Here's an interesting oil pump for a serious completion engine. Made by the Madis Engineering Co from Bellflower California. This pump is NOS it mounts directly to the Ford flathead three bolt front cover. It drives directly by the cam having the correct offset male tang. The front of the pump has the female drive offset slot for the distributer. Its simply placed between the distributer and the front cover. The geared pump shaft is supported by high quality ball bearings.
Besides the pump I also have an early 59A type oil pan that's flat on the bottom the sump having been removed with an outlet for the suction side of the pump.
