1958 Ford Custom 300 Tudor upholstery

I am looking for new upholstery for my '58 Custom Tudor. Local shops want a small fortune to custom make the covers. Does anyone know if the Fairlane upholstery will fit? I can make minor modifications if they're close. Thanks!

By upholstery, exactly what pieces are you describing, seat covers, door trim panels?

I am mainly looking for seat covers. I am going to create new door panels myself and I have sourced the headliner and carpet.

I have a 57 Ford, and I see interiors that have been redone, but the designs tend to be wrong a lot. I hate that word wrong, because they are nice, just not the original layout(s). I guess original layouts are harder to get together with out cupping. Perhaps the other styles are less stitches. I don't know. Fortunately mine was already done when I got my car some years ago, and it's still nice.

Good luck.

What is a small fortune?

If you SEARCH '1957 FORD SEAT COVERS' you will get a plethora of info, even possible NOS.

You didn't indicate what style interior you are going for.

I'm not sure of the style, I do know I don't need anything fancy. I want something that is easy to keep clean and affordable. I do not have a huge budget to work with.

Check out Jerry Miller's site. I used to have one of his catalogs and he supplies interior pieces, seat covers for sure. But anything he does is high-end.

I would price out the work locally with other shops. I was going to do the door cards and rear seat panels myself, something simple and pleated would be great. If you are going to try to replicate something factory and want an accurate look, the price will go up.

I'm looking for a combination of red and black for my car, maybe with an insert done in diamond pleats stitched in red.

I looked at that web site... very nice work, but I'm not looking for a show car, just a new interior. I don't have a lot of money in the budget for the interior so I am shopping around.
