USA Light Switch

I've seen conflicting things on the new reproduction switch. What all is exactly needed to get it working correctly? I have a new harness from Bratton's and a new USA switch. I've heard to modify the harness disc, or sand down the metal housing on the switch. Who all is running this setup and what was your experience of getting it to work smoothy?

Hey Jeff, Assemble the harness and switch, and place on the end of the steering column, before running the wires through the frame. Does the light switch move easily, or at all?
Chances are, you may not have any problem.
In the past, I had to file down a new harness wafer/disc as it was thicker then the original, being used in an original switch. Good Luck.
Keep us informed of your findings. Jeff D

I'm buying a new USA switch this week and I already have a new harness.
Keep us posted.

Hey Jeff,
When I put mine together and after trial assembly/fitment checks, I put a small dab of 'dielectric grease' on each contact. End product works great !
