1936 firewall differences - pickup/car The Early Ford V8 Club 35/36 book, page 10, has a perfect depiction of the car firewall. I assume the 36 pick-up firewall would be absolutely identical. Before I buy a pick-up firewall, can someone verify an exact fit for the coupe? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1936 firewall differences - pickup/car The cowl on a pickup is different than the cowl on a passenger car. So the firewall is also different. Buy a passenger car firewall if that is what you need.

Here's a comparison. There are a lot of subtle differences like hole spacing, contour, etc.

Re: 1936 firewall differences - pickup/car A big, obvious difference is the recesses of the upper half is significantly shorter (on the order of 2") on the pickup. It can be easily seen on Don's photos.
