32 roadster & 5W rear quarter patch panels Why does brookville roadster sell a 5W shaped lower rear quarter patch panel as correct for roadster and 5W? My rust-holed but original roadster panels are clearly different from my rust-holed but original 5W panels. The difference being in the significantly larger radius (on the roadster) in the lower corner in front of rear fender where the wheel arch reveal or swage line comes down and turns into the lower body line. Whats the story fellow rusty deuce fixers? Any sources for more correct roadster patches. I have used the brookville items to repair my 5W and they fit excellent. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Re: 32 roadster & 5W rear quarter patch panels The different contour on the roadster and 5W is something that has been bothering me for years. I guess the Ford designers were in different rooms when working on these two models. The 3W is a different animal, as it is more of a 32 1/2 to me. The contour around the fenders is so much nicer on the roadster. In fact, I did chuckle at one time when a guy used the roadster quarters on the 5W.....he also thought that it would look great...be it by accident or using what he could get....but I think not....not original, just an improvement on the look.
