Re: banjo steering wheel Yes,in 2006.It was a '37 Banjo wheel in my '35 roadster at the time.Turned out great.Sold the car and pics were lost when my computer crashed.

Re: banjo steering wheel Thanks for the replies. I think a thicker rim will be easier to grip with these old fingers while wrestling the arm strong steering.

Re: banjo steering wheel I sent my 39 Banjo to a company in Detroit that did some OEM work and they did custom wheels on the side. Sent them the wheel and some leather that matched my interior and they did a great job. It's been 10 years and it still looks great. The man that lined me up with the company has passed so I have no idea how the contact them.

Re: banjo steering wheel Wheelskins can supply a leather cover to fit your wheel. Just give them the dimensions and they will make one up.
They made one up for my 54 Ford. I gave them the dimensions and the fit was perfect. Good leather too - been on the car for about 10 years with no sign of wear. Quote:
