Tach hook up.

I have the chance to get a cable drive tach. Where do you attach the cable to.
Is there a drive that attached to Dizzy?.Any help would be great. Thanks George

I used this tachometer. https://www.westach.com/product-page/2ct32-6v Tom Endy wrote about it a while back. It simply connects to both coil terminals.

There were a few distributor type drives made in the past. Good luck finding one now.
Here is a typical mechanical tach drive on a model B race engine.

You can also do a mechanical from the generator shaft if you are willing to add the stub shaft and coupling bits. Lots of old tractors used this setup. Getting the ratios right might be interesting but it's period correct.
