Lowering the back of a Pick Up

Hi all, about a year and a half ago, I posted a question about how to lower the back end of a pick up.
I have a 31 Roadster P/U and the back end is too high.
I received a few replies most saying take 2 leaves out of the rear spring, but not saying which ones.
Then Jim Brierley replied saying install a Model T spring.
So I took his suggestion, got a T spring, cleaned it, nosed the ends, and sprayed dry graphite on the bottom of each leaf. Just finished installing it this morning. WOW what a difference, the T spring gave me a 2" drop, and the bed looks level!
Thanks Jim,

I have the same truck. I just run a roadster spring and it looks fine.

Should have left the rear end high. We know cars get better fuel economy going downhill.

But the brakes will wear out faster! Might be cheaper to buy a little extra gas than keep replacing brake shoes!!
