Side Water Outlet

Just came across this and was wondering if anyone had ever seen or had one like it? It has Ford script and the diamond cast in it.

I think it's for a Model T.

Ditto

BTW, It's a water INLET, not An OUTLET, which is on the top of the head.

The "Diamond" you refer to is the Ford foundry mark. If you look carefully, there is this mark on a lot of the castings made by Ford.

The diamond is a genuine Ford part but cast by an outside foundry. That mark can be found on many Ford parts.

Funniest looking diamond I have ever seen. Looks like a triangle to me.

Arnold, I agree that it is a triangle and an original foundry mark.

Original Ford Model A cylinder heads manufactured during production had either a straight line, 45 degree line, or a triangle on the top of the head between the two upper water pump mounting studs. This foundry mark was used for QA (Quality Assurance) to identify the source of discrepant parts.

Cylinder heads manufactured later and sold at Ford dealers as replacement parts were marked differently.

I agree with Bob C especially because it is missing the threaded boss for the conduit clip.
