Excited

Got my order from H&H today, balanced 276 rotating assembly,
Navarro Heads and Regular Dual intake. LA to Dallas in less than a week. I am impressed with H&H.
I'm part way to checking this off the bucket list. 4th Block took the repairs nicely. Went with forged pistons in spite of everyone's (almost) good experiences with cast.
I think if you click on the photo there are a few more. I hate phone cameras except the convenience. http://i1195.photobucket.com/albums/...ps71c21381.jpg

That's beautiful, good luck with the build.

Re: Excited

Very nice. I looked at the rest of the pictures and noticed you got a Navarro intake which was "milled for an 8BA". Q: What had to be - or was - "milled"? I thought the manifolds would interchange.

Nice sprint car, too!

That's going to be one fine engine! Congratulations! You HAVE TO post pictures when it's done.

Re: Excited

the Navarro intake have a boss for the road draft tube and breather. All you have to do it tell me and I drill them out before I ship.

Re: Excited

Very Cool. I wanted an H&H but the depth of my pocket came up short.

Re: Excited

So, then, the "milling" merely involved opening up the road draft tube and breather openings?

Re: Excited

the midget belongs to one of the members of our efv8 club. Its v8 60 powered. he also has an offenhauser powered sprint car in the other room, which my old man would have been over the moon about. I'll see if I don't guess Bart would mind if I posted pictures.

Re: Excited

stock cam (machinist is trying to talk me into a 77b) and adjustable lifters. I'm not excited about the lifters. This is going in front of a ford-o-matic for now. needs to idle about 450.

I spent a lot of summer days up in Brighton, can't remember the names of the lakes we went to.

for the rotating assembly plus balancing, H&H was a no brainer. I tried to piece this together every way I could and like I say, I couldn't do better.
