transport Is there anyone out there that can transport parts. Pick up in New Jersey. Deliver to North Carolina.

Re: transport Nick,
you might give FASTENAL a call. I have used them a bunch of times with good results and they are reasonable. They have 2200 stores in the US, so there's probably one near you. The seller drops off the parts and the buyer pays the freight upon pick up. I have used them for wheels, fenders, tops and misc. other parts. Doug/ NC |
Re: transport Ditto on Fastenal, especially for bigger items like fenders

Re: transport I tried to find FASTENAL on google. All it shows in a "fastener" company. Any other info on how to locate an office that might be near me or near a location in New Jersey? Thanks...Nick

Did you try this link? https://www.fastenal.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: transport There is a Fastenal location in your town Nick. 502 S. Eastern Blvd.
There are at least 20 locations in New Jersey, so there should be one close to the shipper. |
Re: transport Again Guys, thanks for the help...Nick

Re: transport There was a recent thread either on the V8 Forum or the HAMB that said Fastenal wasn't doing this anymore. FWIW

Re: transport true 1931- due to covid.
Greyhound is another option and reasonable. |
Re: transport I shipped a rear end from MD to MO a year or so ago. The buyer made all of the arrangements but I am pretty sure he used fed ex cargo, or something like that. I had it attached to a pallet pretty good, and used a friends auto shop as the ship point. Rates are a bit cheaper from a commercial address. I think the buyer said the shipping was in the $200 range.

Re: transport I talked to them today. They are still in the transport business. Appears that it is a side line. They have trucks running up and down the east coast delivering their product.. They will haul freight for you. It has to be palletized . You have to be willing to wait up to 6 weeks to get your shipment. With this said, their prices are very reasonable.
