What Other Hobbies & Interests Do You Have?
 

We all have one interest in common, but I am curious where other member's interests may lie and how many of us have other things in common. For instance, personally, I collect Stanley collectible woodworking tools, Have a vast collection of Laurel and Hardy memorabilia, and have a love for tall clocks, Herschede in particular. All this and the Model A Ford. I like swap meets, flea markets, yard sales and antiquing in general. Any other ways we can help each other?

Old Impalas and Sunfish sailboats. I get things that were made in the millions so there will ALWAYS be parts.

Offshore fishing.

I collect and restore military vehicles-from 3/4 ton Dodges down to WW2 bicycles. I've accumulated a herd of British motorcycles over the years,which I've restored,and then often traded for something else. I also like vintage target-grade .22 rifles,like old Remingtons,Winchesters, and Mossbergs. I have also gathered up a pretty good collection of Japanese WW2 swords.

Horses and classical piano. Now honestly, how many cowboys play Bach and Mozart, and drive around in a '29 Ford?

Lead singer in a rock band, collect WWII memorabilia and other vehicles, with a concentration of 60's Camaros. Graphic design is my business, but I love it, so I guess it is a hobby also.

Wow what a varied bunch of people! I forgot to mention old bicycles and tricycles. I ride a '71 Raleigh Tourist, my grandson has an early 50's Murray, my wife has a two-tone and chrome ladies Hiawatha, single springer, another Siebert tricycle... the Bicycles are fun, because usually there is little wear, just clean up, oil and adjustments and they are good as new.

Mostly anything to do with old junk.I have sheds full of old gas pumps,tonic machines and coolers,candy machines,air meters,old garage equipment,signs,etc.I've had piles of old motorcycles,mostly british with a couple dozen Harleys thrown in.My dad had a plane,I really liked that,but I like toys that need no regular feeding to use them once in a while.I can drag out an old bike,tinker it up,and ride off for a few bucks.Then park it again.I have some RC planes,the mini bike and scooters I had as a kid,and lots of guns.My fathers side of the family were car salesmen and gun nuts.You got your drivers license at 16 and your pistol permit at 18.I had old trucks,but got rid of the last one this summer.I still have a few backhoes,bulldozers and tractors around.Motorcycles are my downfall,if I leave them alone I am OK,but once I get a taste I remember and am back at it again.I ride 75-100 miles most every night after supper in the summer.They are worse than drugs,at least there are help programs for drugs.The A's are kind of like that too.Instead of having just one real nice one,I have three on the road,one in a basket to do this winter,and always keeping an eye out for another one.

Aside from my love of antique cars, I really enjoy photography. I like to combine both hobbies by photographing cars or parts of cars to do creative photography.

I build plastic model kits while I watch tv. Mostly old cars and airplanes.

If it is a Ford and it burns gasoline i have it or want it.
I was a tool and die maker by trade but now retired and can
not imagine working on old cars without my fully equipped machine
shop.

Daisy air guns going back 112 years. Lots of Daisy memorobilia. Also have a couple of Daisy .22's. Actually built a small museum several years ago.

I've yet to shoot my eye out!
