I am looking for window channel runs for my '60 Ford. Mine are 5/8" X 5/8" with stainless bead on both sides. runs I removed say Standard Products Co. but I've had no luck with them or literally a hundred auto supply houses. Anyone got any idea who would have these?

You might try rebuilding your tracks. I have found and used with great success Velcro loop. Use the self sticky stuff that comes from an upholstery supplier. It is still in place on the several cars I have done this with.

First clean out all the old material. I have found a small wire wheel does a very nice job. Use lacquer thinner to remove any glue remnants followed by a good cleaning with rubbing alcohol. Cut the Velcro into strips, lay the first in the bottom of the channel then do the sides. Any excess can be trimmed by using a razor blade and running it just under the stainless bead.

I've done the same thing but unfortunately I can not remove the channel from the door and it would be nearly impossible to do with the channel in the door. also I need the S.S. beaded style and mine are rotted away and I only have the channel

Look at Steele Rubber. Put in all your information and a shopping list comes up, everything they carry for your car. Restoration Specialties is good to deal with too.

The channel for my car was Y619 and Y620, one is rigid (for the vent channel) and one is flexible. I forget which is which. My car is a '59 Ford.

Comcourse parts has them, but if you tell em you want them for your car they will say they don't have them. This is the same thing as my 57 Skyliner uses. I have a small fortune in mine. Perhaps the option outlined in comment #3 is worth a try.

When I say a small fortune I mean it.

6-7 years ago we parked my 55 bird next to my buddy's 56 Nomad and spent the winter doing the window channels, lift mechanism, door latches, etc. Almost all the bit and pieces come from restoration specialties. Those guys knew exactly what you needed, it all fit fine, and it was cheaper than the "specialty shops" that only do specific cars.

Since the doors were empty, we cleaned them out, brushed some POR15 as needed, and put some sound deadener (left over from the floors, like dynamat) in.

When the rain in Seattle quit we took them out, and the difference in the rattles and noise was amazing. We didn't realize how bad they were.

Try Macs Auto Supply. I got mine for my64 TBird a couple of years ago from them.

I've tried all the above suppliers. they're all either too narrow or too shallow or no s.s. bead. closest I can find is thru dennis carpenter. correct width,s.s bead, a tad too shallow but hope I can shim it out.

I ended up buying from dennis carpenter (Y526). looks like a CRL-Automotive product. a tad shallow but fit fine

CR Laurence is a good supplier, Metro Glass should have had them. Mine were the 5/8" x 5/8" too. The bad thing is the '60 Ford is an odd duck year and not everyone lists products for them.
