Put her ass to the curb!

Guess I am a "woose". I wouldn't trade my bride for any car. In fact I sold my sweet '30 tudor to put counter tops in the kitchen for her. . . Chap

I'd sell my A in a heartbeat to keep my sweetie. She loves the A's as much as I do. Our first "date" was to overhaul the differential in her '31 coupe in my driveway! And it gets better every day.

Well I'm with Chap I guess. But I don't think my wife would give me that ultimatum. I think she likes me for some reason.

Either that or she just wants me to stay out in the garage. :p :p

You have to love a woman who will let you love your old cars.

My Sweetheart bought me my Model A for a retirement present. It does tend to keep you at home in the shop.

My fantastic wife of 54 years bought for me the 190A we both enjoy today. Our social life, and my best friends are from our local Model "A" Ford club.

How could your wife live with her conscience afterwards?

Drove my dad's (now mine) 31 roadster to the beach with my then girl friend and asked her to marry me. We are going on 43 years of marriage. We are getting ready to move and thinking about retirement. She recently asked me what I needed for my shop before she quits work and our income shrinks. She has always been a keeper!

In 1970 I sold a 1928 model A coup to buy a wedding ring. 39 years later she ran off with a cowboy and I've been happy ever since. My girl friend now backs me every step of the way and loves my "A's". We tour all over together and I wouldn't trade her for the best model A ever.

My wife of 33 years doesn't share my passion for old cars, but she does have a passion for me! She's my helper with all things car-related, and just last week helped me get the engine and transmission back in our A...gotta love a girl like that!

I am lucky, my bride of 58 years is always ready to go somewhere in the Model A. Helps me work on it and keeping it washed.

Ray, Are you saying you did her rear end on your first date???
More seriously, my wife also loves the Model A life. The friends we have made, the places we have been and the things we have seen wouldn't have happened any other way. She'll lend a hand if I ask but I do pretty much all of the mechanical work. As much as we both enjoy the Model As, I think there has to be time out. Mine is in the workshop doing what I like and hers is in the kitchen - she loves cooking. It's a wonder I'm not the size of a house! (6' tall and 190-195 lb.)

My wife is always bugging me about, "when are you going to get that done so we can go racing?"

And I love the way my grandkids roll their eyes when I use it. Makes it all worthwhile!

McMimmcs: I had to be REAL careful about the way I worded that statement! Yes, most people rolled they're eyes about it.
